We are doing something different this year for our annual awareness and fundraising event.
We are offering everyone who attends the opportunity to experience what our listening work is like - in a fun, interactive, and creative way.
We are partnering with the creators of a board game - Cozy. Juicy. Real. - that gives participants the opportunity to talk about their lives, their dreams, and what they love (or what they don’t). There are three categories of questions to ask and answer - some more whimsical and easy (Cozy), some a little deeper and more serious (Juicy), and some more vulnerable and personal (Real). You get to choose the level that you want to share in. It’s non-threatening, illuminating, and quickly forms meaningful human connections.Â
We and our team members love playing the game. It’s a great icebreaker and a wonderful way to know and be known, which is what good listening does.Â

Want to be a host?
We’re looking for individuals and organizations to host a Cozy, Juicy, Real event in October—and that could be you!
Whether you're in the United States or anywhere else around the globe, you can create a meaningful gathering in a space that feels right to you. Host at home with family and friends, meet up at a cozy coffee shop, or gather in a community space that brings people together.
Workplaces, civic groups, churches, and schools are also encouraged to host events tailored to their own communities—whether for employees, congregations, students, or neighbors.
And don’t worry if October 10, 2025 doesn’t work for your schedule. You’re welcome to host your gathering anytime during the week surrounding that date. Just let us know what works best for you!
